Council Meeting Highlights
ACSLPA Council met in Calgary on September 7. Here are a few highlights from the meeting:

- Approved and adopted amendments to ACSLPA's Bylaws, which come into effect on October 1, 2024;
- Council decided to schedule 4 Council meetings plus an in-person retreat in 2025;
- Conducted regular Council business.

Key College Documents

The Hearing Screening Guideline and Protocol outlines standard procedures for developing a hearing screening program, and guides regulated members of ACSLPA in the procedure of screening to identify individuals who are at risk for peripheral hearing loss and require audiological follow-up.

September Tip: Jurisprudence
|
- If you initially registered in 2019, or you last completed jurisprudence in 2019, you are likely due to complete jurisprudence in 2024 and received an email from ACSLPA on July 18 reminding you.
- You can complete the Jurisprudence modules anytime before and during renewal. You must complete the test by December 31.
- The course can be accessed from the Jurisprudence webpage and the test is completed in the member login area.
