ACSLPA Presents the 2023 Member Forum!

You are invited to come learn, connect and share ideas with your college and other regulated members at the 2023 ACSLPA Member Forum. This event will be virtually hosted on the Remo platform at noon on Monday, October 2. Technical support will be available from Knxion Events.

We will get started with a brief presentation and then attendees will break into smaller groups to discuss specific regulatory topics. When you register, you will choose your preferred small group topic(s).

Revised Informed Consent for Service Guideline is now available!

While most of the practice guidance in the guideline has not changed, the revised guideline provides an overview of the who, what, when, why, and how of the informed consent process, and provides some additional clinical scenarios to assist with professional decision making. Please contact Sharia Ali, SLP Advisor, with questions about the guideline.

Insights

A reminder to regulated members that ACSLPA's revised bylaws permit the College to publish decisions and other relevant information related to hearings and appeals on ACSLPA's website.

Over the next few months we will be highlighting some annual report information in our Essentials emails. On the left is an image depicting the nature of the complaints ACSLPA received in 2022.
