Audiology Curriculum Standards

The Council for Accreditation of Canadian University Programs in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CACUP-ASLP) is launching a comprehensive review of the Curriculum Standards for Audiology.
These standards inform the preparation of future audiologists and must evolve to reflect advances in the field, the needs of diverse populations and changes in the national competency profile.

CACUP-ASLP is currently seeking participants for the Practice Area sub-groups. Please consider this opportunity to contribute your knowledge, perspectives and expertise to this collaborative effort.

Deadline to apply: August 31.

Professional Predicaments

Part 3 of this Professional Predicaments series,
Understanding Signing Requirements during Supervised Practice, explains expectations regarding formal documentation during a supervised practice period.

NEW: Competence Corner

ACSLPA introduces a new feature on our website and in Essentials: The Competence Corner - where tips and resources relevant to maintaining and enhancing your professional competence will be shared.

In our first feature, you will find information about recent revisions to the Accommodations section of the Continuing Competence Program (CCP) Manual.

Good News: CPP MOU

A new Cross-Provincial Practice (CPP) Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed in early July to replace the original MOU that was expiring. The new MOU will be in place until 2028.
Please visit ACSLPA's CPP webpage to learn more about how this MOU can make it easier for you to practice virtually or in-person for up to 200 hours in Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario and New Brunswick. ACSLPA and the other provinces participating in the MOU hope additional provinces will join soon.
