Virtual Care Guideline
|
Minor updates were made to the Virtual Care Guideline in response to the repeal of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIP) and the proclamation of the Protection of Privacy Act (POPA) and the Access to Information Act (ATIA) in June. The changes to the Guideline are effective September 4, 2025.

Council Meeting Highlights
At their meeting on September 6 in Calgary, Council:

- Approved updates to the ACSLPA Bylaws that will be effective October 1, 2025;
- Approved a 2026-2030 Strategic Plan;
- Discussed a draft proposed Position Statement: OTC Hearing Aids & Pediatrics.
