The position statement recognizes the risk of harm from pediatric use of OTC hearing aids and provides guidance for regulated members. Audiologist and SLP registrants may reference this document when educating clients and colleagues.

The College would like to thank the audiologists who volunteered to be members of the OTC Ad Hoc Committee and participated in the development of this position statement.
