2022 ACSLPA Council Election Update & Announcements
|
The Nominations Committee is pleased to announce the newest members of ACSLPA Council. There were four 2023-2025 ACSLPA regulated member Council positions available. The call for nominations was sent to all members on June 13 with a deadline of June 30. In the end, five nominations were received but the fifth nominee decided to withdraw in July.
|
Pursuant to ACSLPA’s Bylaws (9.10.1 and 9.11.1), the Nominations Committee met on August 8 and the four remaining nominees were declared elected by acclamation. An election will not be held this year.

The Nominations Committee is pleased to announce the following new members of Council:

- Nicole Baumback, R.SLP (incumbent) (2023 – 2025)
- Kerry Campbell, R.SLP (2023 – 2025)

The College is still waiting on the Government to appoint two Public Members to complete Council.

At the end of 2022, the terms of Claire Silvera and Joanne Richer Fodchuk will be complete. We thank them for their dedication and input into the College over the past years. We wish them all the best.

The first Council meeting of the new year will take place in January.
