The Comprehensive Stuttering Program (CSP) approach authored at ISTAR is now available in a condensed 2-day workshop format to practising clinicians.  Hundreds of students and practising clinicians have learned this evidence-based approach in the past 30 years through participating in clinical traineeships at ISTAR. The efficacy of the CSP approach has been well researched and reported in several journal articles.

This 2 day basic workshop in 2020 includes a summary of etiological theories about stuttering and therapy approaches for school aged, teen, and adult clients. Participants will be trained in the identification of stuttering behaviours, fluency skill practise and instruction, delivery of accurate and appropriate feedback, and problem solving. The workshop will be delivered in a live online format allowing time for questions and interaction. (The workshop will not be recorded for later viewing.)
