ALBERTA APHASIA CAMP IS MOVING ONLINE FOR 2020!

Due to the COVID19 pandemic, there are a variety of restrictions which make hosting an in-person aphasia camp challenging.

We have made the decision that Alberta Aphasia Camp 2020 will move forward, but that we will gather together on-line.

We will meet September 18 – 20, 2020 with the following schedule:

  • Friday, September 18 @ 7:00 – 8:30 PM
  • Saturday, September 19 @ 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
  • Sunday, September 20 @ 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Participants will need to download the software Zoom onto their computer, laptop, tablet or phone. Aphasia friendly Zoom download instructions will be provided to registrants and a one-on-one tutorial prior to camp will be offered to those who request it.

The registration form can be found on our website (uab.ca/AphasiaCamp). Registration deadline is July 24, 2020.

Attendance costs $30 per person. Each person who registers for camp will receive a camper kit with:

  • T-shirt
  • Materials for activities
  • SWAG
  • And much more!

Please pass this information along to colleagues working with adults with aphasia, and to your own clients!
