To practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist or Audiologist in Alberta, individuals must be registered and possess a valid Practice Permit from the Alberta College of Speech-Language Pathologist and Audiologists (ACSLPA). Under the Health Professions Act (HPA), registration is mandatory for all speech-language pathologists and audiologists prior to providing any professional services in the province of Alberta.

Application forms, apart from courtesy registration and cross provincial practice registration, are available online. DO NOT submit an online application if you have already submitted a paper copy. IMPORTANT: In addition to the information requested in the online application form, you must submit separately a current original satisfactory Police Information Check, or equivalent, as well as other documents.
