and Professional Obligations

This advisory statement was developed to address the minimum professional and ethical obligations of registrants by addressing ACSLPA’s Standards of Practice, Code of Ethics, and other Key College Documents in the context of OTC hearing aids for individuals over 18 years of age.
This 30-minute webinar will provide a general overview of the advisory statement, highlighting regulation of OTC hearing aids, ACSLPA’s role in the context of OTC hearing aids, and practice guidance around:
- Client-Centered Service and Informed Choice,
- Audiology Practice Considerations, and
- Risk Management in working with adult clients and OTC hearing aids.
