| I am an audiologist with over 20 years of experience practising in the UK and Canada. My career has included public healthcare and private practice, providing a broad perspective on delivering patient-centred audiology services. Alongside clinical practice, I have been involved in professional leadership, advocacy, provincial initiatives, and mentoring future audiologists. These experiences have strengthened my commitment to ethical practice, collaboration, and lifelong learning. | |

| My involvement in professional advocacy has provided insight into the evolving needs of audiology. I have collaborated with professionals across diverse practice settings, engaged with healthcare and government partners, and advocated for initiatives that support both professions and the communities we serve. These experiences have strengthened my ability to listen, consider diverse perspectives, and work toward balanced, thoughtful decisions that align with public protection. | |

Why do you want to be part of ACSLPA’s Council at this time? |
| I am interested in serving on Council because I value the role of regulation in protecting the public and strengthening our professions. My clinical and leadership experiences have shown me the importance of collaboration, thoughtful discussion, and evidence-informed decision-making. Serving on Council would allow me to contribute my experience while continuing to learn from others and support ACSLPA’s mandate. | |

| I believe these values are important to building effective regulation and supporting the professions we serve. Healthcare is always changing, and we must continue to adapt while maintaining strong standards. I value listening to different perspectives, collaborating, and building trust through open communication. Good governance means balancing public protection whilst supporting a strong, ethical profession, and I would be honoured to contribute my experience and perspective as a Council member. | |

Council would welcome an additional audiologist for the 2026-2027 term. ACSLPA’s regulated members of Council currently include one audiologist and four speech-language pathologists. |
